From there, we left to go to La Guajira [the northern peninusla area of Colombia which used to be home for Juan and his family before they moved in order to serve the Lord in the area of La Jagua--HR]. We were there four days with another seminar on leadership and their responsibility. 7 more were added to the Lord, for a total of 25. One sows, another waters, but the growth is given by God for His glory. Please continue praying for us. Thank you so much for your love and support. I love you (all) in the Lord.

2005

Beloved Brethren, we greet you in the love our Lord Jesus Christ, our God and King, hoping that you are enjoying the Lord's blessing, those that only He gives. With reference to us, we are well

I arrived from Barrancabermeja and La Jagua. And I had to return to Puerto Berrio urgently, because I was presented with the death of my brother Corebo..brother in the flesh and in the faith. This happened on Wednesday, the 13th of September. the funeral was on Thursday. I had to return to Medellin in order to organize the payment of the funeral expenses, since the family is very poor and does not have much financial income. I have until the end of the month to pay.

The trip had been productive since in Barranca there was 1 baptism and in La Jagua there were 2. This gives new enthusiasm for us to continue to preach the gospel. Some leave to receive their reward and others begin their journey.

Harland, I received your last message where you tell us of some of the difficulties of raising support. And we understand that there are priorities. Especially at this time when there are so many who have lost everything. We are praying for you and them. And if that means that any support for Juan is postponed, that is OK. I do accept the idea of sharing some of what we receive with him. I just don't know what Alberto's response will be.

Harland, I need to ask about the new ATM card. As of yesterday it had not arrived. Nor had the papers that you had send for Mary Beth. About your trip in December, we are organizing things for your arrival and stay. So that you might have a little rest. We are very grateful that you are coming.

On Thursday I will travel again towards Caucasia and Montelibano, where I will meet the new brethren there.

I would also like to know about the medical bill in Sonora.

Our love and greetings. May God bless you.

I want to add some brief notes about some of his questions. The letter sent with the papers and the ATM card will take several weeks because it is Registered Mail. That process always takes longer. Secondly, the medical bill was paid in full. Joaquin left some $$ from monies that some of you had given during their stay. The sum was sufficient. And Bobby and Mary Beth Morgan took care of the rest.

Thirdly, his reference to sharing some $$ with Juan is in the context of my proposal to be able to add $30/mo for Juan. But since that is not very much, I asked both of them if they might be able to give about $20/mo. Joaquin is already giving about $40/mo because he currently pays Juan's rent. Fourthly, Joaquin did not mention anything about the exact numbers of what is owed for his brother's funeral expenses.

Our love and greetings to all of you as well. Harland and Catherine
